Colour Palette Creation 🎨

Hello

I hope you have had a fantastic week! Here's a quick round-up of what I’ve been up to, including an update on a new collection I’m working on.

🌿 Outdoor Dining Accessories 🌿

This week on Instagram, I showed an example of an outdoor dining accessory that you could make featuring our Carefree design in Dragonfly Blue. You can also buy ready made napkins, table cloths and runners using this design direct from my Spoonflower shop

From elegant tableware and cutlery holders to luxurious fabric napkins and placemats, everything you need to make your outdoor dining experience both stylish and memorable.

🧸 Nursery Inspiration 🧸

Creating a cozy and stylish nursery is one of the joys of preparing for a new arrival. Our designs bring serenity to any nursery. Whether it's soft blankets, wall decor, or adorable accessories, our patterns add a magical touch to your baby's space.

🍂 Creating Colour Palettes 🍂

I have been working on a new colour palette for my next collection provisionally called Forest Embrace. I love this part of the process and usually spend a fair amount of time choosing and collating a “working” palette for my designs. The colour palette will evolve as I start to work on each design. I always choose colours from the many photographs I have taken which helps me feel more connected to each pattern as I create.

As you can see the colours have a more autumnal look and feel - a departure from my usual style and one I’m excited to work on.

I plan to share my progress each week…primarily to keep myself accountable and also to let you see how I go about designing a new collection.

In the mean time I hope you all have a lovely Sunday.
